Check out our new video about the Elf and Fairy Fair, which was held last month at Sutton Manor Community Woodland, St.Helens.
Children dressed as elves and fairies spent the day enjoying activities such as woodlands workshops, crafts around the fire, face painting and storytelling.
Almost 1500 people attended the event, and around 600 had never visited the woodlands before.
The afternoon was organised by The Mersey Forest in partnership with Forestry Commission and St.Helens Council as part of Access to Nature, a national scheme run by Natural England and funded by the Big Lottery Fund. The Fair was also part-funded by the EU Interreg IVb programme, as part of the Pure Hubs project.
