Get your hands on a free tree in Sefton this weekend

Sefton residents are being given the opportunity to pick up a free tree this weekend as part of National Tree Week. 

 

The free tree giveaway is being organised by Sefton Borough Council and is funded by the Big Tree Plant and Woodland Trust as part of The Mersey Forest. 

 

Rowan, silver birch and bird cherry trees will be available to collect from specific locations in Sefton, together with a leaflet about how to look after the trees. 

 

Thursday, 5 December:
Bootle, Bootle Cricket Club (L20 2DD) – 3pm

 

Saturday, 7 December:
Litherland, Hatton Hill Park (L21 9JN) – 1pm-3pm
Crosby, Moorside Park (L23 2RS) – 1pm-3pm
