Charlotte's Pagsy is a local community woodland at the northern-most point of the borough of Knowsley. It runs from Bank Lane to join Saxon Green public open space to the east, following the course of Simonswood Brook upstream through a valley that at the western end has rock exposures that are designated as a Regionally Important Geological Site.

At the head of valley to the west of the site is a pond created to support flood management within the locality, which now provides an excellent complementary wildlife habitat to the brook and woodland. The site also contains football pitches on its southern portion, when you climb out of the valley. Play facilities are also present on the Saxon Green public open space lying to the east of the woodland.

There are also great walking links into the wider area, including onto Hall Lane to the east and the countryside beyond via a footpath leading from the site north of Linnet Way and Tern Close. South west of the woods off Bank Lane is a public footpath that takes you to Mill Dam Park and onwards to Millbrook Park Millennium Green, St. Chad's Gardens and south onto the new cycleway running down Valley Road and into the Knowsley Village Countryside.
