Clint East Wood

Clint East Wood (formerly the wood with no name!) is part of a network of community woodlands in Knowsley Village. An extensive walk is possible taking in Knowsley Village's various community woodlands. This small wood, which contains a route between School Lane and Knowsley Lane, was planted in the 1990s under the 'New Use for Vacant Industrial Land' (NUVIL) scheme for wood production. However, the site is now managed purely as a community woodland.
